Sandy Township Seeks Police Funding

SANDY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (1480 WHBC) (Nov. 7, 2016) – Sandy Township is going for a 3-mill levy to fund police protection for 5 years.

The township gets its police service from the village of Magnolia department.

Trustee Robert Fallot says police protection was paid from the general fund, but income to that fund has dried up.

Tipping fees revenue to a landfill in the township have dried up, according to Fallot.
