ODOT Unveils I-77/Route62/Fulton Project

CANTON, Ohio (WHBC) – A $3.8 million ODOT project at the busy interchange of I-77, Route 62 and Fulton Road is planned for next year.

A big part of the project involves physically separating the Westbound 62 traffic from the I-77 South vehicles exiting onto Fulton Road.

Vehicles in that merging area are often switching lanes, leading to accidents.

ODOT says they’ll also be adding additional turn lanes at the end of both ramps to Fulton Road.

There will be a public meeting soon on the project.
