Canton Businessman Making Independent Run for Council

CANTON, Ohio (WHBC) – A Canton businessman and downtown resident is running for city council.

Pat Wyatt who operates the Carpe Diem coffee shop with his wife Cathy has filed petitions to run as an independent candidate for one of three Council At Large seats.

Two incumbents, six other Democrats and a Republican are running, but incumbent Tom Harmon is not.

Wyatt and his wife also live downtown at the Onesto Lofts.
