Newcomerstown Cop Shot, 2 Suspects Sought

NEWCOMERSTOWN, Ohio (WHBC) – Police agencies around Ohio continue looking for two suspects in connection with the shooting of a Newcomerstown police officer on Tuesday.

Investigators say the suspects left the shooting scene in a black Geo Tracker with no license plates and darkened windows.

Both men were described as skinny with tattoos on their faces.

One was wearing a red sweatshirt and the other was dressed in a lime green sweatshirt.

37-year-old Newcomerstown Police Officer Bryan Eubanks was investigating a suspected mobile meth lab when he was shot twice.

He was treated and released.

Fortunately he was wearing body armor.
