Welcome to the WHBC Studio Building at 550 Market Avenue South, Canton, Ohio, USA.

 

This art-deco classic was designed by Albrecht and Wilhelm, architects, and built by L. W. Kilgore, general contractor.  It was dedicated on September 12, 1939.

The six plaques on the front of WHBC's building symbolize "the spirit of radio." They were especially sculptured for WHBC by Antonio D'Lorenzo, a noted New York sculptor. They emphasize (as seen left to right on the building) learning, swift communication, dissemination of news and information, truth, music, comedy and drama.
