Browns Trade QB Hogan To Redskins

The Cleveland Browns have traded quarterback Kevin Hogan to the Washington Redskins.

In return the Browns receive the Redskins 6th round selection in 2018, which is pick number 188 overall.

The Redskins receive Hogan and a Browns 2018 6th round pick. The pick was acquired from the Patriots in the Jason McCourtey trade, which is pick number 205 overall.

So what did the Browns really get in this trade?

Cleveland moves up 17 spots in the 6th round, while the Redskins get Hogan and drop 17 spots in the 6th round.

This completes the hat trick for new Browns GM John Dorsey as he now has traded all three Browns quarterbacks that played for Cleveland last year. Hogan to Washington, DeShone Kizer to Green Bay and Cody Kessler to Jacksonville.
