More layoffs are in the works for employees serving the Stark County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Area group homes decided to not pick up the total cost of transporting and serving clients, so they're withdrawing at least 138 adult clients from workshops next month. It's not known how many workers will lose their jobs or when.
