Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of James Mammone, IV. Roughly 300 prospective jurors will be interviewed by prosecutors and defense attornies concerning the case against the 36-year old Canton man. About 150 people were called to Stark County Common Pleas Judge John Haas' courtroom yesterday. A jury probably won't be seated for several days. Mammone is accused of stabbing his two young children to death and shooting his former mother-in-law in June. He could get the death penalty if convicted.
