The Federal Stimulus Program is providing a boost to four projects that are expected to bring jobs to Stark County. A proposal by Mercy Medical Center to build a new facility in Jackson Township has been selected by County Commissioners for stimulus facility bonds. Re-development of the Hercules Engine Plant in Canton and the Shearer's Foods expansion in Massillon will get money too.
