Canton's Northeast Community Center has a new owner. At an absolute auction yesterday, the facility was sold to an anonymous buyer from Salem, Ohio for $147,000 plus fees. The buyer did not want to comment on what he has planned for the 45,000 square foot center. It also has 8 acres surrounding the facility. It closed in October because of rising operating costs.
