A plan to redevelop the Mahoning Road Corridor in Canton is getting the backing of Stark County Commissioners. They've passed a resolution supporting the plan. The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority is seeking federal funding to speed up bus service there. Canton officials are going after grants to improve the appearance of the corridor and attract new development. The support of the Commissioners could help that effort.
