Some familiar names have taken out petitions to run for office in Stark County. Former Canton Mayor Janet Creighton has taken out a petition for county commissioner as has former city official Tom Bernabei. Commissioner Steven Meek, who was appointed to the post, wants to be elected. Former Judge Richard Reinbold is going after the 29th District State Senate seat. They have until February 18th to file the petitions.
