Some good economic news for Northeast Ohio as Governor Ted Strickland and Lt. Governor Lee Fisher join other officials in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 100-million dollar technical center in Akron. The Bridgestone America's new center will design and research tires and will keep 1000 jobs in Northeast Ohio. Bridgestone had been considering building the facility in Tennessee. Completion of the center is set for 2011.
