Stark Deputies Have New Contract


CANTON, Ohio (WHBC) – A new contract is in place now for deputies with the Stark County Sheriff’s office, retroactive to January 1st.

Though the 100 deputies will get 2% pay raises each year, the amount they pay toward health insurance coverage will increase by 1% each year.

Commissioners approved the deal on Wednesday.

It runs through the end of 2019.
