132 Statewide, 3 Locals Nailed in Human Trafficking Initiative

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Ohio Attorney General David Yost promises to work up the “food chain”.

132 people statewide were arrested in a human trafficking operation last week involving one hundred police agencies.

Among those arrested on misdemeanor “engaging in prostitution” charges are 30- and 42-year-old men from Canton and a 36-year-old man from Louisville.

Yost says 73 potential human trafficking “survivors” were referred to health care and social service organizations.

He continues pushing the message: “don’t buy sex in Ohio”.
