14-Year-Old Boy Admits to Shooting, Killing Canton Teen

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 14-year-old boy charged with juvenile-level aggravated murder has entered a guilty plea to reduced charges in the fatal shooting of a Canton teen back in March.

Stark County Family Court records show that on Wednesday, Isiah Lynch pleaded true, the juvenile equivalent of guilty, to counts of murder and obstructing justice.

Lynch will be sentenced in January.

Investigators say Lynch shot 14-year-old Sylvia McGee in the head on Bieyl Court SW on March 30.

Another boy who was with Lynch, 14-year-old Michael Boykins, recently pleaded guilty to juvenile tampering with evidence.

He has not been sentenced either.
