New Philly Man Ordered to Pay $90,000 in Investment Scheme

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (WHBC) – A New Philadelphia man was ordered to repay his victims $90,000 in a phony energy drink investment scheme.

The state Attorney General’s office says 51-year-old Keith Elsesser pleaded guilty to grand theft and unlawful securities practices back in January.

On Monday, the AG’s office says Elsesser paid $10,000 of that restitution amount to the two victims.

They say he had used the money to buy rental cars, groceries and the like.
