4 Stark Agencies Receive $740,000-Plus for Opioid Fight

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Four Stark County agencies are among many others across the state receiving federal funding channeled through the state to fight opioid use disorder and prevent overdose deaths.

Stark Mental Health and Addiction Recovery is receiving nearly $500,000, while Commquest, Pathway Caring for Children and Young Christian Professionals are receiving smaller amounts.

Governor DeWine had recently said that overdose deaths in the state have dropped each of the last two years.
