Canton Man Accused of Firing Gun Toward Children

CANTON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton man remains jailed without bond, accused of firing a gun down the street, reportedly toward a group of children.

38-year-old Shawn Summers was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Smith Avenue and 8th Street NW.

The police report indicates he was arguing with a roommate when he fired the gun in the air and then down the street.

Summers faces several gun charges.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
