Timken Celebrates 120th Anniversary by Ringing NYSE Closing Bell

NEW YORK, NY (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Top brass and others from the Jackson Township-based Timken Company made the trip to New York City on Thursday, ringing the closing bell on Wall Street.

They did that as part of their 120th anniversary.

The company began selling tapered roller bearings in 1899 in Saint Louis, but moved to Canton two years later.
