66-Year-Old Canton Man ‘Serious’ After Being Shot 4 Times

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 66-year-old Canton man is hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot four times early Monday morning.
Michael Bennett was shot in the chest/stomach area as well as in the hand at his apartment house on 5th Street SW at Shorb Avenue.
The victim’s brother was there at the time of the shooting, but says he did not see what happened, according to the police report.
He was not hurt.
No suspect, but detectives are working the case.
