+AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The illuminated Firestone sign that has sat atop Firestone Plant One in Akron for over 100 years is coming down, but it is not going away.
Bridgestone says the sign will be refurbished and replaced with LED bulbs before going back up at an as-yet undisclosed new location.
The project will take a couple of months.
