Deputies Continue Investigating Nimishillen Shooting

NIMISHILLEN TWP., Ohio (WHBC) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office continues investigating an accidental shooting death in Nimishillen Township from Friday night.

Robin Lilly was shot in her front yard in the area of 6500 Columbus Road at about 10 p.m.

She died a few hours later.

The sheriff’s office says she and other family members were cleaning and putting away firearms from an earlier target practice session when a gun fired.

Investigators are looking into exactly who was handling that gun at the time.
