A little “Lido” and “Georgia” were all we needed from the Canton Native

Even Boz Scaggs was taken aback by the warm welcome and demand for several encores at the Canton Palace Theater last night.   He mixed a handful of his hits with some great new music.  I’m not normally a fan of a heavy blues but boy did he change my mind.  The talent on the stage surrounding him was also much appreciated by the crowd.  But for me, the moment I waited for was for Boz to start belting out “Georgia” and he did.  I video taped it ….and I sang every word.  Those two things don’t go together.  Oh well,  just ignore the girl singing along! It made me feel like I was back in college and that’s pretty good.

Thanks for coming to Canton Boz…it was great!
