AAA: Gas Prices Creeping Closer to $3

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Gasoline prices took a leap in the area on Wednesday.
Thursday morning’s AAA average across the Canton-Massillon metro area shows regular at $2.88 a gallon, up 15-cents from Wednesday morning.
Many stations are posting $2.95.
It’s a nationwide trend.
The auto agency points to higher crude prices, more demand, and falling supplies.
The local average is higher than the state and national average.
