AAA: Not Since February, Gas Prices Shoot Up

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – With an increase in demand for gasoline seen around the country, prices have jumped up for the first time since February.

The average price for regular in Stark County Friday morning was $1.52 a gallon.

Gas Buddy shows gas stations posting $1.59 on their signs in the Canton, Massillon and Alliance areas.

It had been below $1.30 a few days ago.
