AAA Predicts Record Holiday Travel

DAYTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – You definitely won’t be traveling alone this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
AAA says 3.2 million Ohioans will travel more than 50 miles from home sometime between next Tuesday and the following Monday.
Nearly three million are traveling by car.
Public Affairs Manager Kara Hitchens with AAA says if you can get your car in for a checkup before hitting the road, that would be a good idea.
Cruises are coming back in a big way since the pandemic pretty much shut the industry down; that category is seeing the biggest increase.
And don’t forget “tracks”.
Train travel is up as well for the holiday.
The 3.2 million travel prediction is a record one.
