AccuWeather Predicts ‘Vibrant’ Fall Colors

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – AccuWeather has its Fall Foliage Forecast out, and it looks to be a colorful one for the Hall of Fame region.

Their forecasters see an area of “vibrant color” in northern Ohio by mid-October, but the weather over the next few weeks will be a factor in determining the color and timing of the colors.

The AccuWeather extended forecast has lows in the 40s the second week of October, and around 50 the third week of the month.

Areas that have dealt with severe drought like southeast Ohio don’t expect to see a lot of color.

The leaves are expected to peak here in mid-October, but that is subject to change, based on the weather.
