AdvisorSmith: Canton at Number-17 of 18 for Safety Among Ohio’s Large Cities

NEW YORK, NY (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The city of Canton ended up near the bottom on “The Safest Cities in Ohio” list, according to a business insurance advisory company.
AdvisorSmith says only Cleveland placed lower than Canton among 18 larger cities in the state.
Elyria was considered safest.
Canton had twice the per-capita average for total crime and violent crime.
The figures are based on 2018 FBI crime stats.
