COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Ohio’s top law enforcement officer took the Ohio National Guard to task Wednesday in announcing that misdemeanor charges against a cable-TV news reporter have been dropped.
AG David Yost says the resisting arrest charge was not supported by evidence.
The reporter was hauled off to jail after being asked to stop doing a live report during one of the governor’s press conferences in East Palestine.
Governor Mike DeWine had said live “shots” during press conferences should be permitted.
And he says that Major General John Harris was too aggressive when confronting the reporter.
