SUMMIT COUNTY (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Akron man was arrested yesterday for making threats directed toward the Department of Job and Family Services. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office received information about threats made on Facebook by 28-year-old James Carroll of Barberton.

Inspector William Holland says Carroll threatened a potential shooting. Carroll was later arrested and charged with aggravated menacing. Officers say he was arrested without incident before he was taken to the Summit County Jail.
