Akron Man Gets 7 to 9 Years in July Shooting Death in Canton

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 21-year-old Akron man will do seven to nine years for the July shooting death of a 25-year-old Canton man.
Lamont Buchanon was sentenced Monday in Stark County Common Pleas Court for the killing of Isaiah Heard.
Buchanon had pleaded guilty earlier.
Prosecutors say he broke into a home on Rem Circle NE where Heard was in bed with Buchanon’s ex-girlfriend.
