Akron Man Sentenced to Life Behind Bars for Child Rape

AKRON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Akron man was immediately sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to raping a young girl that he knew. 48 year old Keith Morris assaulted the girl in March of 2019. He will be eligible for parole after serving 15 years of his sentence. Morris was also designated as a tier III sex offender, meaning that if he ever leaves jail, he will have to register with the local sheriff every 90 days for the rest of his life.
