CLEVELAND, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Maybe if he hadn’t bragged about it all over social media.
James Robinson of Akron is headed to a federal prison cell for the next six years for taking down a couple of City of Akron websites in August of 2017.
The 33-year-old had pleaded guilty earlier to a federal count of ‘damaging protected computers’.
Federal prosecutors say Robinson even posted a video, complaining about the city and its police department.
He also took credit for several attacks on federal agency websites.
