Akron Police Searching for Men Responsible in Blackout Break Ins

AKRON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Police are looking to find a pair of men who committed break ins yesterday in a similar style.
The first took place around 7:30 AM at the Slim Pickens on Triplett Blvd when an unknown male damaged electrical meters to create a power outage and steal hand tools from the business.
Just a few hours later the Tim Hortons on canton road also reported a break in and was without power. Nothing was said to be missing from the Tim Hortons.
Akron Police Lt Michael miller says officers are working to find out who they are and if they are working together.
