Akron Woman Badly Injured in Hit-Skip Accident

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Akron police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that leaves a 62-year-old woman hospitalized with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The victim was walking across East Market Street and was thrown some 80 feet after she was struck, according to patrol officers.

A witness says the vehicle was a silver SUV.
