Akron Woman Faces Charges After Dispute Involving Gun

AKRON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Akron woman is facing multiple charges following a gun dispute last night. Police say 67 year old Sue Adolph showed up at the home of an unnamed 49 year old victim to discuss a custody dispute involving him and the child’s mother.
Following argument, Adolph allegedly pulled a handgun from her purse. Adolph and the victim began to fight over the gun. During the fight, she reportedly fired a round the the floor of the home.
Adolph also fell down the stairs and sustained injuries to her head and ankle during the physical dispute. She was taken to the hospital after officers arrived and faces a warrant for felonious assault. The victim was not injured.
