COLUMBUS, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Alliance police officer was one of seven officers or departments honored by Attorney General David Yost at the 2019 Law Enforcement Conference awards Wednesday in Columbus.

Officer Roy Tittle of the APD received the Distinguished Law Enforcement Community Service Award.

For 21 years he has operated or worked at an after-school martial arts program for kids.

He founded the school.
