Among Guns, Drugs Confiscated in Akron, Coventry: 3D Printer Used to Make Gun Switch

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Akron police Anti-Violence Bureau and Summit County Sheriff’s Office investigation turns up drugs, guns, and a device that makes a semi-automatic weapon fully functional.

The Glock Switch made by a 3-D printer also recovered earlier in the week is called a “significant threat to public safety” by Akron police.

A 28-year-old man was arrested as part of a warrant search in Coventry Township.
