Raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David Steinberg graduated from the University of Wisconsin and in 1969 migrated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. He began with a stint in public relations, representing Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Sellers, and James Coburn among a host of others.   More recently, he guided the careers of Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, among others.
