APD: Man Dead in Police-Involved Shooting in Akron

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – There’s little description of the situation at this time, but a man in Akron was shot dead by two police officers Sunday morning in the area of Brittain Road and Evans Avenue.

Police were initially called to an abandoned car on I-76, and later found the subject seen leaving that vehicle.

The victim’s name was not released.
