ATF Offering Reward in 2011 Canton Cold Case Killing

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The ATF’s Columbus field office is taking up the cold case killing of a Jackson Township man.

They are offering a $10,000 reward leading to the arrest of those responsible for the shooting death of 22-year-old Dale Settle Jr.

Settle was murdered outside a Hazlett Avenue NW home in Canton as he and others were arriving for a Bible study session in September of 2011.

He was said to have been shot as he clutched his Bible in his hands.

The young man was approached by two individuals looking to rob him.

He was also said to be praying for the two would be robbers as he lie dying in the hospital.
