August Weather at CAK: Very Wet

GREEN, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The August weather statistics from the airport weather station are in.
There was 6.8 inches of rainfall last month, more than three inches above normal.
It’s the 8th wettest August since local records have been kept.
And the average temperature last month was 69.2 degrees.
That’s three degrees below normal, and continues a trend since Spring of below normal temps.
The temperature has not reached 90 degrees at the airport since last Summer.
