…The box office is revving slowly back up as movie theaters and drive-ins open their doors across the country. Liam Neeson’s thriller “Honest Thief” has once again topped the modest box office, making another $2-point-four-million for a three-weekend total of almost $7-point-five-million.

Here’s this weekend’s top 5 movies:

  2. “The War with Grandpa” – $1.9-million
  3. “Tenet” – $1.3-million
  4. “The Empty Man” – $1.3-million
  5. “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (2020 re-release) – $577K

Bond fans, DISSREGARD THE  recent rumors that the new 007 film is heading straight to streaming. “No Time To Die” PRODUCERS INSIST iT still coming to theaters next year.

Jake Trotter, covers the Cleveland Browns for ESPN, had a bit of news over the weekend concerning former head coach Hue Jackson. Jackson led the Browns to a 3-36-1 record, which included a historic 0-16 run in 2017.

APPARENTLY…Jackson has a book coming out “early next year” that he says, “will be a best seller…I promise you that.” Jackson goes on to say, “It’s a story that needs to be told,” but doesn’t give any details beyond that besides his desire to tell the world “what (he) saw.

…Saints All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas was absent from the Saints lineup for the fifth straight game yesterday and now one has to wonder when he does get to the field again whether it will indeed be in black and gold.This after a story surfaced that the New Orleans Saints might be ready to move on from their top wide receiver for more reasons than one.

One of those reasons being they have won their last three games without him including yesterday’s 27-24 win over Carolina—and another being that he may be interested in moving on from the club.
