Beach City Man Killed in Route 250 Head-On Crash

SUGAR CREEK TWP., Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Beach City man is dead after his pickup truck slammed head-on into a semi on Route 250 in Sugar Creek Township Sunday night.

The Canton post of the State Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Melvin Hershberger was dead at the scene.

The semi driver was taken to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover for treatment of minor injuries.

The patrol says Hershberger’s pickup went left of center on 250 just south of Route 212.
