Bill Changes Landlord/Tenant Laws Related to Late Utility Bills

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Here’s a good sign for those landlords who get stuck paying the utility bills of their tenants.
House Bill 93 keeps the responsibility for unpaid tenant utility expenses with the tenant.
Current Ohio law shifts the burden over to landlords.
Proponents say it’ll force tenants to pay their bills on time.
Those opposed say there are enough landlord/tenant laws out there already.
