Both Lawrence Fire Levies Go Down to Defeat

LAWRENCE TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Voters in Lawrence Township rejected the effort by the township fire district to renew two levies in a special election on Tuesday.
The 1.9 and .5 mill issues both were defeated, with 64-percent of voters saying “no”.
The department will reportedly try to pass the levies again in November.
