Canton Council Doles Out Raises to 10 Employees

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Ten Canton city employees are seeing raises on top of the increases they got the first of the year.

The Repository says that council members without explanation voted to give raises of 6- to 21-percent, though Councilman Frank Morris voted “no”.

Administration members say the ten are in difficult-to-fill positions, and could seek similar employment with better pay in other public jobs.
