Canton Driver Hits Summa ER, Injures Patient, Man Inside

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 37-year-old Canton man will be facing charges after driving off of Interstate 77 near Arlington Road in the city of Green, hitting the side of the Summa Health emergency facility.
A female patient and her husband who were in an examination room were injured.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office says he was taken to Akron City Hospital.
The driver’s name was not being provided until charges were filed.
The patient and her husband were treated in another room at the ER for minor injuries.
