Canton Engineers Office Working to Get Another Eastbound 30 Lane Open

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The city of Canton engineers office hopes to have another lane open on Eastbound Route 30 by the end of the week.
Crews continue filling voids underneath a sinkhole that developed along the road, just east of I-77.
The process known as “grouting” is taking longer than expected.
As for the other lanes of traffic and the ramp from Northbound 77, those will remain closed for 3 to 4 more weeks as the sewer line work below resumes and is completed.
That’s the apparent cause of the sinkhole.
